Thelangue Pathophysiology also refers to the study of disease in general. Pathophysiology is the study of disease or injury. Pathophysiology addresses four components of disease, mechanisms of development (pathogenesis), structural alternations of cells (morphologic changes), and the consequences of changes (clinical manifestations). The history of Pathophysiology including the detailed examination of the body. Modern Pathophysiology develops as a distinct field of injury during the 19th century through natural philosophers and physicians that studied disease and the informal study of what they termed “pathological anatomy”. Pathophysiology is divided into two main types- Anatomical Pathophysiology & Clinical Pathophysiology.
