Dermatologic oncology is dedicated to the diagnosis and management of skin cancers, which encompass melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. With advancements in early detection and targeted therapies, the prognosis for many skin cancer patients has improved. This session will explore the latest research on skin cancer prevention, innovative treatments, and the role of immunotherapy and genetic testing in personalized care. A comprehensive approach to managing skin cancers, including surgery, radiation, and novel therapies, will also be discussed.
